A built-in crossover channels midrange and low frequencies to a treated paper woofer with a special polyurethane surround and directs high frequencies to a PEI dome tweeter. PEI Dome Tweeter: Each speaker has a PEI (Poly-Ether-Imide) dome tweeter. PEI is a polymer film that produces a wide soundstage to improve imaging.
Woofer: The woofer cones are made of water-repellent treated paper.
