Overview: The PNW-275 is designed to replace the 2¾” speaker used by several vehicle manufacturers. Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit. The mounting tabs on the speaker basket can also be removed and the speakers custom mounted using the included grilles.
Crossovers: A 6 dB/octave, 250 Hz high-pass crossover is integrated in-line with each included 6″ length of speaker wire. The output end of the wire has quick slides that mate to the terminals on the wire attached to the speakers; the input end of the wire has terminals compatible with the vehicle-specific harnesses we have for many applications. The crossovers measure just over ¾” at the widest point.
Mounting: In addition to mounting in factory 2¾” locations, the speakers can flush mount using the included clamps, resulting in these dimensions:
- Depth: 1.6″
- Height: 0.625″ (grille height)
- Cutout Diameter: 2.43″ (2.5″ hole saw recommended)
- Frame Diameter: 2.842″ (3.425″ grille diameter)
High-Output Design: The 3Ω voice coil design compensates for the high in-line resistance of small gauge factory wiring, extracting more power from factory (or aftermarket) receivers. This results in clearer, richer sound for the listener.
Power Handling: AudioControl describes the continuous power handling (RMS) as follows:
- Min: 15 watts
- Ideal: 25 watts
- Max: 50 watts
